Fees are broken down into two categories, full-time and part-time.
If you choose not to apply for student support or are not eligible, you will be personally responsible for the payment of the fees.
If you intend to study full-time you will be required to pay the undergraduate full-time rate of tuition fee of £8,300. You may be eligible for a tuition fee loan to help with this cost, as well as a maintenance loan and other types of student support funding to help you finance your studies and more information is available here.
From September 2012, part-time students may be eligible to apply for a tuition fee loan to assist them with the cost of part-time courses. The loan can be applied for from Student Finance England by downloading and completing a PTG1 application form. Unlike full-time applications which are applied for online, part-time students are required to have a section of their application completed by their HEI once they have registered and have been attending for a minimum of two weeks.
Part-time students, including those on distance learning and flexible routes, should note that the fees are charged on a pro-rata basis and that Additional Diplomas in the School of Education have their own separate fee rate. Should you decide during the academic year to complete additional courses, the appropriate fee will be added to your student account and payment will be required immediately.
Failure to make payment or arrangement of payment will result in a loss of access to university systems. If you have applied for student support, this may mean that you will need to complete a Change of Circumstances form online to enable a re-assessment of the intensity of your programme.
We suggest that you register for a full year of courses (minimum 60 credits) at the start of the academic session.
If you choose not to apply for student support, or are not eligible, you will be responsible for the payment of the fees.
