Money Doctors is a national initiative originally set up by the Consumer Finance Education Body (CFEB) to help students make more informed decisions about their finances. The Money Doctors programme at the University of Greenwich is managed by Student Finance. We provide advice on Government financial support, University Hardship Funds and managing your budget to all our students.
Student finance advisers are located on each campus within the Student Centre.
We offer information, advice and support on the following matters through interactive workshops and one-to-one appointments:
- Money management
- Debt management
- Supplementary income
- Funding postgraduate study

It is a good idea to plan a realistic budget before you come to university. By doing this you will be able to identify any unnecessary expenses and find ways to save money.
Budgeting will help you:
- See how much money you have coming in (income)
- See how much money is going out (expenditure)
- See how much money you have left
- Plan for future spending.
