Applicants should have:
340 UCAS points
FROM three full A-levels, (including mathematics and a science/technology subject)
OR a National Diploma in engineering at DDD or equivalent
PLUS at least three GCSEs at grade C or above (including English, mathematics and science) or equivalent qualifications.
The School of Engineering has a total of about 3000m² of specialist and integrated laboratories that encompass many subject disciplines and include the following resources; Electronics, Electronics manufacturing, Thermodynamics, Hydraulics/Fluids, Control and Instrumentation, Mechanics and Dynamics, Engineering Applications workshop, Renishaw Productivity Centre, Materials, CAD.
Students are assessed through examinations, assignments and projects
This programme is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) to meet the partial academic requirements as a chartered engineer.
Opportunities in research, design and development in industries such as electrical and electronic manufacturing.
