This programme is designed for students who would like to study law combined with another discipline. This combined honours degree provides knowledge of substantive law in conjunction with knowledge of the other discipline chosen, which can be helpful for a range of careers outside law, whether in commerce, administration, marketing or teaching.
Applicants will require 240 UCAS points, gained within a two-year period, of which at least 200 should come from A-levels or equivalent. We also consider applicants with other qualifications.
Law combined honours is not a qualifying law degree for professional purposes as required by the Law Society and the Bar Council for immediate entry to professional post-graduate courses. Students wishing to enter into the legal profession on completion of a joint law degree are required to take a one year conversion course. However graduates are able to seek exemptions from the Law Society with respect to some modules required by the conversion course.
