If you are looking to achieve a university-level qualification but cannot find the time to get to relevant classes, or simply cannot find the kind of course you are looking for, you can now design your own degree programme using our Applied Professional Studies degree framework.
You can create a personalised programme that is entirely relevant to your current and future career goals. It is a great way to receive academic recognition for learning that you have already achieved, either formally or informally, which will then count towards your final award.
You can study modules from across the university at a pace that suits you and your ongoing commitments. You will achieve a degree much faster this way than on some other part-time programmes.
You have the option of three distinct packages of learning that can lead to a foundation degree, an honours degree or a postgraduate award.
Get started with the eight-week "Tool Kit " introductory course and get stuck into work-based learning projects and learning achieved through work.
You can attend taught courses at the university, claim credit for courses or modules that you have completed elsewhere, such as through work, plus work-based projects under our supervision.
