Study-bedrooms
Each room contains the standard study-bedroom fittings (bed, desk, wardrobe, chair, pinboard, etc.), as well as its own minifridge. Rooms are cabled to provide direct access to the university's network, the Web and e-mail. This can also be used to access both telephone and multi-channel digital TV services. There is no separate charge for the provision of these services (call charges will, of course, apply).
Kitchen/dining room
In addition to the standard fittings (including cooker, fridge/freezer, store cupboards, table and chairs), each flat contains the following:
- Kettle
- Toaster
- Microwave
- Ironing board.
Facilities
- 24-hour campus security staff
- Launderette
- Bicycle racks
- General shop on campus.
A vacuum cleaner can be borrowed from the hall manager's office.
Smoking policy
Smoking is not permitted in the Medway Residences.
