Medway accommodation
Our Medway Campus at Chatham Maritime, North Kent, is growing quickly, with new facilities being added all the time.
The Medway residences comprise a total of 350 rooms in five halls. These are within walking distance of both Chatham and Gillingham town centres, which feature a range of high street stores and banks. Nearby is the Dockside Outlet Centre, offering plenty of good-value shops and food outlets. The area also boasts a multi-screen cinema and range of restaurants.
Adelaide, Forte, Sunne, Merlin and Wolfe
The accommodation consists of single study/bedrooms each with en-suite toilet/shower facilities and shared kitchen/dining rooms. All rooms have their own mini-fridge and free access to the Internet.
Travel
A number of bus routes connect the campus with Chatham town centre and the railway station, which offers services to Kent and the local area. A fast connection is also available to London, which means you could be in the city in less than 50 minutes.
Students are able to use the university inter-campus bus service. This connects Avery Hill, Greenwich and Medway Campus and is the easiest way to travel between each campus during normal university hours.
Parking
Parking on site is restricted to permit holders only. Students living in the halls of residence may apply to purchase a permit to park in the halls car park.
