Moving into halls of residence

You can usually move in on the Saturday and Sunday immediately before the start of the academic session in September. Most students arrive over those two days.

You will normally be expected to arrive between 10–5pm. If you intend to arrive outside these hours, you should  contact the relevant Accommodation Office and inform the staff as soon as possible.

If you are an international student and you can only arrive outside those dates or times, please contact the relevant Accommodation Office as soon as possible.

Students on programmes  that start earlier or later than the standard dates, (for example, students undertaking nursing and midwifery courses and some postgraduate courses) will be advised of reception arrangements.

You will be sent more information about moving into halls of residence when you are offered a place.
