International Foundation Programme with Cultural Studies

International Foundation Programme with Cultural Studies (IFPCS) is a one year pre-degree programme designed for overseas students who have been educated in English or have a minimum IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent but who do not immediately fulfil the academic entry requirements for undergraduate study in the Schools of Business, Computing & Mathematical Sciences or Humanities & Social Sciences.

Aims of the programme

  • To provide international students who have been educated in English with access to degree or higher diploma programmes at the University of Greenwich.
  • To provide these students with an opportunity to develop the academic skills needed for success in higher education.
  • To ensure these students acquire the knowledge, self-confidence and study skills needed in an academic environment.

A variety of teaching methods, including lectures, seminars and group and individual tutorials are used on the programme. You will have full access to university facilities, including the library, language centre and computer access.

Entry to the IFPCS is possible in September or January.
