English/foundation programmes

Choose from a selection of programmes and courses that are designed to boost your English language and academic study skills with a view to helping you progress your studies within a British university.

Our students are required to hold an acceptable English language qualification.

The normal minimum English language qualifications for general degrees and the majority of our Master's programmes are:

  • GCSE/IGCSE English language grade C
  • An IELTS score of 6.0 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
  • TOEFL ibt score of 93 with a minimum 22 in Reading, 21 in Listening, 23 in Speaking, 21 in Writing.

Specific programmes may carry additional requirements.

For students who do not immediately fulfill the entry requirements for a three-year degree programme.

International Foundation Programme with Cultural Studies

A one year pre-degree programme .

Pre-Sessional English courses

Bring your English language entry requirement (or IELTS) up to a 6.0 with a Pre-Sessional English course.
