The University of Greenwich welcomes students from Venezuela studying foundation, undergraduate (Bachelor) degree, and postgraduate (Master’s) degree programmes.
To join our programmes you will need to meet both academic and English language entry requirements before you start the programme. You need not wait until you satisfy all the entry requirements before you apply to study with us.

Entry requirements

Foundation and undergraduate degrees

For entry to the International Foundation Programme, in either September or January, you will need:

  • An IELTS of 4.5 with a minimum of 4.0 in each component or equivalent  and
  • Bachillerato grades 10+

For entry to our four year extended degree programmes in engineering, you will need:

  • An IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent and
  • Bachillerato with grades 10+

For entry to Year 1 of three year Bachelor degree programmes, you will need:

  • An IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent and
  • Bachillerato with grade 15+ and Prueba de Aptitud Académica

Advanced standing to Year 2 or Year 3 of certain degree programmes is considered on an individual basis, Diploma holders can be considered. You will need an IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.

Master’s degrees

For entry to our Master’s programmes, you will generally need to have an IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent or equivalent and a Good grade (6 +) in a Licenciatura or Professional Title gained after 4 years of study or more to be considered.

Certain programmes have special requirements. For example, some MBA programmes require work experience after graduation at an appropriate level; and those for architecture need to submit a portfolio of their work.

English language courses

Summer pre-sessional English language courses and International Foundation Programmes are available.
