Uganda
The University of Greenwich has around 30 students from Uganda studying foundation, undergraduate (Bachelor) degree, and postgraduate (Master’s) degree programmes.
To join our programmes you will need to meet both academic and English language entry requirements before you start the programme. You need not wait until you satisfy all the entry requirements before you apply to study with us.
Entry requirements
Foundation and undergraduate degrees
For entry to Year 1 of three year Bachelor degree programmes, you will need:
- To have successfully completed 13 years of education and
- Passed 6 UCE (or EACE), with grades 1 to 6, including Mathematics and English, and 3 UACE (or EAAC) with grade E or above.
Advanced standing to Year 2 is possible if you have completed two years of a relevant degree in Uganda or to Year 3 of some degrees if you have completed three years of a relevant degree in Uganda. You will need IELTS of 6.0.
Master’s degrees
For entry to our Master’s programmes, you will also need to have a minimum of 2:2 in a three or four year degree from Uganda.
Certain programmes have special requirements. For example, some MBA programmes require work experience after graduation at an appropriate level; and those for architecture need to submit a portfolio of their work.
English language courses
Summer pre-sessional English language courses and International Foundation Programmes are available.

Chuo kikuu cha Greenwich iko na karibu wanafunzi 30 kutoka Uganda wanaosomea msingi, vipindi vya digrii ya shahada ya kwanza (Bachelor), na digrii ya uzamili (Shahada ya uzamili).
Kujiunga na vipindi vyetu utahitaji kuhitimu mahitaji yote ya ingizo ya taaluma na lugha ya Kiingereza kabla ya kuanza kipindi. Hauhitaji kusubiri hadi uridhishe mahitaji yote ya ingizo kabla ya kutuma ombi la kusoma nasi.
Mahitaji ya ingizo
Msingi na digrii za shahada
Kwa ingizo ya Mwaka 1 ya miaka mitatu ya vipindi vya digrii ya shahada, utahitaji:
- Kuwa umekamilisha kwa ufanisi miaka 13 ya elimu na
- Umepita UCE 6 (au EACE), na alama 1 hadi 6 pamoja na Hisabati na Kiingereza, na UACE 3 (au EAAC) na alama E au zaidi.
Masomo ya juu hadi Mwaka 2 inawezekana kama umekamilisha miaka miwili ya shahada husika nchini Uganda au Miaka 3 ya baadhi ya shahada kama umekamilisha miaka mitatu ya shahada husika nchini Uganda. Utahitaji IELTS ya 6.0.
Shahada za uzamili
Kwa ingizo ya vipindi vya Uzamili, utahitaji kuwa na kiwango cha chini cha 2:2 katika shahada ya miaka mitatu au minne kutoka Uganda.
Vipindi fulani vina mahitaji maalum. Kwa mfano, baadhi ya vipindi vya MBA vinahitaji uzoefu wa kazi baada ya kuhafali katika kiwango mwafaka; na wale wa usanifu majengo wanahitaji kuwasilisha mkusanyiko wa kazi zao.
Kozi za lugha ya Kiingereza
Kozi za lugha ya Kiingereza za kabla ya kikao cha msimu wa joto na Vipindi vya Msingi vya Kimataifa zinapatikana.
