Sri Lanka

The University of Greenwich has approximately 350 students from Sri Lanka studying foundation, undergraduate (Bachelor) degree, and postgraduate (Master’s) degree programmes.

To join our programmes you will need to meet both academic and English language entry requirements before you start the programme. You need not wait until you satisfy all the entry requirements before you apply to study with us.

Entry requirements

Foundation and undergraduate degrees

For entry to Year 1 of three year Bachelor degree programmes, you will need to have completed 13 years of education and to have four O level passes (including Mathematics and English with grade C) and three A level examinations. One or two A level examinations are needed for entry to our International Foundation Programmes.

Advanced standing to Year 2 is possible if you have completed the first year of a relevant degree in Sri Lanka or to Year 3 of some degrees if you have completed two years of a relevant degree in Sri Lanka.

Master’s degrees

For entry to our Master’s programmes, you will need to have a three or four year degree from Sri Lanka.

Certain programmes have special requirements. For example, some MBA programmes require work experience after graduation at an appropriate level; and those for architecture need to submit a portfolio of their work.

English language courses

Summer pre-sessional English language courses and International Foundation Programmes are available.

Joanne Wall, International Regional Director, will be visiting Colombo to interview students and undertake ‘On the Spot Admissions’ for our September 2012 intake.

அடிப்படை மற்றும் இளநிலைப் பட்டப்படிப்புகள்

மூன்று வருட இளங்கலைப் பட்டப்படிப்பு திட்டங்களுக்கான நுழைவுக்காக, நீங்கள் 13 வருட கல்வியை நிறைவு செய்திருக்க வேண்டும் மற்றும் நான்கு O நிலை தேர்ச்சிகளைப் (கணிதம் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் கிரேடு C உள்பட) பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும் மற்றும் மூன்று A நிலைத் தேர்வுகளை நிறைவு செய்திருக்க வேண்டும். எங்களுடைய சர்வதேச அடிப்படைக் கல்வித் திட்டங்களுக்கான நுழைவுக்கு ஒன்று அல்லது இரண்டு A நிலைத் தேர்வுகள் தேவைப்படுகின்றன.

நீங்கள் ஸ்ரீலங்காவில் தொடர்புடைய பட்டப்படிப்பு ஒன்றில் முதல் ஆண்டை நிறைவு செய்திருந்தால் நீங்கள் நேரடியாக 2ஆம் வருடப் படிப்பில் இணைவதற்கு அல்லது நீங்கள் ஸ்ரீலங்காவில் தொடர்புடைய பட்டப்படிப்பு ஒன்றில் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளை நிறைவு செய்திருந்தால் நீங்கள் நேரடியாக 3ஆம் வருடப் படிப்பில் இணைவதற்கு வாய்ப்புள்ளது.

முதுகலைப்’ பட்டப்படிப்புகள்

எங்களுடைய முதுகலைக்’ கல்வித் திட்டங்களில் நுழைவதற்கு, நீஞ்கள் ஸ்ரீலங்காவில் மூன்று அல்லது நான்கு வருடப் பட்டத்தைப் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியமாகும்.

குறிப்பிட்ட கல்வித்திட்டங்கள் சிறப்புத் தேவைகளைக் கொண்டிருக்கும். உதாரணமாக, சில MBA கல்வித் திட்டங்களுக்கு பட்டப்படிப்பை நிறைவு செய்த பிறகு ஒரு பொருத்தமான நிலையில் பணி அனுபவம் தேவைப்படும்; கட்டடக்கலை கல்வித் திட்டங்களுக்கு விண்ணப்பவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பதவிப் பணிகளில் ஒன்றை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டிய அவசியமிருக்கும்.

கோடைக்கால முன்-அமர்வு ஆங்கில மொழி பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் மற்றும் சர்வதேச அடிப்படைக் கல்வித் திட்டங்கள் ஆகியவை கிடைக்கப் பெறுகின்றன.
