The University of Greenwich welcomes students from Brazil studying foundation, undergraduate (bachelor) degree, and postgraduate (Master’s) degree programmes.
To join our programmes you will need to meet both academic and English language entry requirements before you start the programme. You need not wait until you satisfy all the entry requirements before you apply to study with us.
For entry to the International Foundation Programme, in either September or January, you will need to have an IELTS of 4.5 with a minimum of 4.0 in each component or equivalent or TOEFL of 32 (ibt) or 97 and to have completed 12 years of education and have a Certificado de Ensino Medio.
For entry to our four year extended degree programmes in Engineering, you will need to have
an IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent or TOEFL of 80 (ibt) or 213 (cbt) and to have completed 12 years of education and have either a Certificado de Ensino Medio.
For entry to year one of three year bachelor degree programmes, you will need to pass the International Foundation Programme. Exceptionally, if you have an IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent and very good marks in your Certificado de Ensino Medio, you may be considered for year one of a degree. You may also apply for year one if you have completed the first year of a relevant degree.
Advanced standing to year 2 is possible if you have completed two years of a relevant degree in Brazil or to year three of some degrees if you have completed three years of a relevant degree in Brazil. You will need an IELTS of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.
For entry to our masters programmes, you will need to have:
International Pre Masters Programmes are available to those who wish to prepare themselves for postgraduate study.
Certain programmes have special requirements. For example, applicants for the MBA programmes must have two to three years' full time management work experience after graduation at an appropriate level; and those for architecture need to submit a portfolio of their work.
Summer pre-sessional English language courses and International Foundation Programmes are available.
