University ChoirA triple treat awaits those attending the University of Greenwich choir concert on Friday 24 February.

The music includes Purcell's Come ye sons of art, Mendelssohn's Hear my Prayer, and Otčenas (Our Father) by Czech composer Leos Janáček.

Led by the university's musical director Nick Jenkins, the show promises to be a glorious affair. Nick says: "Purcell gives us an uplifting English Baroque classic full of dance rhythms, which dates from 1694 – just a couple of years before the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich was built.

"Mendelssohn's Hear my Prayer is juicy and romantic, full of great tunes, and features the famous number O for the Wings of a Dove. Janáček's 1901 version of the Lord's Prayer is a gorgeous and soulful Slavonic outpouring, which we will perform in the original Czech.

"All are welcome at this event so please join us for a celebration of wonderful music."

Choral Triple Treat takes place from 7.30pm in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, Greenwich Campus.

Tickets are available from Monday 6 February from Greenwich Theatre Box Office (020 8858 7755).
