Aims and Objectives
The aim of this research project, is to develop a unique and innovative inter-professional assessment support tool, to facilitate student discussion of risk factors and decision making, relative to defined scenarios relating to complex, social and family situations. The tool has been developed as a joint exercise by staff from the School of Health & Social Care, and the School of Computing & Mathematical Sciences (CMS), supported by a number of games students from CMS. The project has been trialled with social work students and presented at workshop to a range of Health and Social work professionals from a range of external organisations across the country. Response to this has been very positive and the project has been formally evaluated with a view to rolling out as a product.
