Registering with the Disability & Dyslexia Centre

In order for the university to make appropriate reasonable adjustments for your disability, dyslexia or other specific learning difficulty, you must first register at your campus Disability & Dyslexia Centre. You are advised to register as early as possible to allow time for the adjustments to be put in place.

Please note:

  • do not post information to us (unless specifically asked to do so)
  • do not hand over medical or diagnostic evidence to anyone in the university except members of the Disability & Dyslexia Centre
  • unless you make direct contact with the service we cannot guarantee that any individual adjustment will be considered.

Students with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties

Please make an appointment through your local Student Centre with a dyslexia adviser.

You can register at any time in the year, and during the busy time at the start of the autumn term there will be drop-in sessions to help you register quickly. The drop in times will be advertised via the student portal and on this site.
