Welcome to the guidance pages for the online registration process for new students.
On these pages you will find information supporting each of the online registration stages. You may read through them all now, or refer to them once you have begun the process – there are links to the relevant guidance in each stage of the process. If you get stuck in the process and need advice on how to proceed, please contact the Student Helpline.
The online registration process is divided into 8 stages:
Stage One: Student Declaration
Stage Two: Personal Registration
Stage Three: Education History
Stage Four: Programme Confirmation
Stage Five: Course Selection
Stage Six: Fees Payment *
Stage Seven: Image Upload
Stage Eight: Personal Details Confirmation
* Please note: registering students may temporarily be stopped at the start of the fee payment stage to allow fee-checking. Check Query Tracker for your clearance to proceed to the payment stage and the prompt completion of your registration.
Throughout these guidance notes you will find reference to the "Query Tracker ". This is our query management system. Queries sent by you during the online registration process that require university staff to check your record will be shown there. You can follow the progress of your query on the Query Tracker checking its status, which will show either:
P = Processing (not yet resolved)
C= Complete (query resolved: continue with online registration)
A = Awaiting information (query not resolved, awaiting authorisation from School for change of student record)
We will add a comment next to the status of the query if further action is required from you, or if we have provided explanations for your situation. Please make sure you read these carefully. Please do not send us the same query more than once.
