The Student Centre provides a broad advice and information service as well as administrative tasks such as registration and student ID cards; help with your student records queries; letters and transcript requests, and a checking-in service for interview. We can also provide access to our specialist services, more detail of which you can find below.
Your Finance team are Mitzi and Ronke. They are based in the Student Centre in QM040. They can advise on a range of finance queries including student loans and other financial support. They are open 9.30am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-4.00pm daily (except Wednesday – open at 10am).
You can also request a confidential appointment with Mitzi who is the Finance Adviser, by visiting the Student Centre.
Your International Team are Isaac, Jane, Katie, Manoj and Desrine. You can book an appointment to see one of the team by calling the Student Centre on 020 8331 7868 or dropping in to QM040.
Your Careers Adviser at Greenwich is Yvonne. You can book an appointment to see one of the advisers by seeing Naz in QM036. For more information you can also go to the GET website.
If you’re looking for a part-time job then your first stop should be registering with GET Online. Once registered you’ll be able to search and apply for jobs across London, Kent, the UK and the world!
If you need further help with your job search then you could come along to a drop-in session. The times & dates vary so check first.
If you need to sign a contract for a university job then you can drop in to the Employability Centre in QM036.

Mentoring offers support and guidance and can help you develop yourself both personally and professionally in preparation for entry into the graduate employment market.

Volunteering is a great way to gain valuable skills and experience, build your confidence, make new friends and improve your employability. To find out more please contact Sarah on 0208 331 8628.
Your Chaplaincy team are Louise, Kirsten and Jeremy. You can drop in to Queen Mary 161 to have a chat with them about your faith, your problems or for a bit of spiritual guidance. You can also call them on 020 8331 9854 or e-mail chaplaincy@gre.ac.uk
You can visit a counsellor for a short chat, a number of one-to-one sessions, or to participate in one of the many positive-thinking workshops they run: they are always there to listen to you and offer understanding and help. You can book an appointment to see the Counsellor through the Student Centre.
Your Disability & Dyslexia team are Ayesha, Rosey and Virginia. You can make an appointment to see Virginia, the Disability Adviser, by going to the Student Centre in QM040.
To make an appointment with one of the Dyslexia Advisers go to the Student Centre. You can also attend a drop-in session, for general queries and/or screening, run by Rosey or Sue on Monday-Thursday, 4-5pm in QM052 .
