The Avery Hill Student Centre extends a warm welcome to all new students in 2011-12

If you are looking for a place on campus to complete Part 1: Online Registration, please go to the student computer lab on the mansion site where there will be staff on hand should you need help.

Where to come

The Avery Hill Student Centre is on the ground floor of Southwood House, Southwood site.

When to register:

You will be advised as to when you should register by your school.

Identification

If you have been asked to bring identification with you please make sure you bring your current valid passport or birth certificate if you are a home student, or your current valid passport if you are an international student.

Qualifications

If you have been asked to bring in evidence of your qualifications please make sure you bring the original certificates – copies will not be accepted. The only exception to this is for Summer 2011 results where the ‘Notice of Results’ can be accepted. Overseas qualifications written in a foreign language must be accompanied by a certified translation.

CAS Statement

If you are a new international student please bring your CAS statement with you

Photographs

If you have been unable to upload a photograph we will do it for you when you come in to the Student Centre. It only takes a couple of minutes so won’t hold you up at all.

CRB and Occupational Health Checks

Further information can be found here if you are required to complete a CRB check or Occupational Health check for your programme.

For international students; completion of registration confirms you are complying with the student visa rules as required by the UK Border Agency.
