If you need to extend your visa to complete your programme of study it is recommended that you attend an International Student Advice Service (ISAS) workshop. To find out about workshop availability and to book a place, contact the Student Centre on the campus where you wish to attend the workshop.
What you need to do in preparation for the workshop
Before you attend the workshop you will need to:
- Request a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) from your Student Centre. You do this in person at your Student Centre, and you must bring with you:
- any passports you have held since entering the UK
- biometric residence permit - if you have one. This is the plastic biometric ID card issued by the UKBA.
- the qualifications you used to join the course
- ATAS clearance certificate - if your course requires you to hold one
- if you receive financial sponsorship from the University of Greenwich, evidence from your school of how much money you receive yearly
- Complete the Tier 4 application form - you can download and print them from the UKBA website
- Read through the University of Greenwich guidance notes on completing the Tier 4 application form (PDF format)
- Collect together the documentation as stated in the guidance notes.
