NetForce 2: Promoting the spirit of enterprise on each side of the Channel

The objectives of the Netforce 2 project are to:

  • develop a common cross border approach to enterprise creation and business succession
  • promote a common enterprise culture
  • identify and publicise the accessible and available support which can be easily used to prepare individuals to start up businesses at the same time as improving their employability

This project was launched in January 2011 and runs until September 2013 in Kent and the Upper Normandy region.

As part of Netforce 2 we will concentrate on:

  • university Students
  • women
  • people aged 40+
  • repreneurs (business succession)

The English partners are:

  • Kent County Council
  • The University of Greenwich
  • Kent Foundation
  • BSK-CIC

Our French partners are:

  • Regional Council of Upper Normandy
  • OPCALIA-training provider
  • The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Le Havre
  • CIDFF-Centre for the Rights of Women and Families
  • EGEE-Intergenerational help for employment and enterprise, mentoring
  • MEF-business support and training provider

The NETFORCE 2 project has been selected as part of the France (Channel)-England cross border European cooperation programme INTERREG IVA co-financed by ERDF
