Drop-in sessions are useful for:

  • CV and application assessments
  • Queries on national insurance and employment status
  • Overview of guidance & employability services on offer
  • Advice on which companies and organisations to approach for work/work experience and how to contact them

The drop-ins are available on a first come first serve basis. You will need to register your name at the start of each session. Simply visit your campus Guidance & Employability Centre and ask to see the adviser at the reception desk. There may be a short delay if the adviser on duty is advising a student at the time. CVs can be checked during a JobShop or a careers drop-in session.

Before attending a JobShop drop-in session to sign your agreement for casual work, we advise you to view the online information on what to bring with you, and how signing your agreement works.

Please note: when attending a careers drop-in please ensure you bring a printed copy of your CV. You are also advised to download and read our CV checklist before your drop-in.

It is advised you arrive at the start of each session to register your attendance.
