Cycling and walking

All our campuses have cycle parking and access to showers. The university additionally has a Cycle Users group that raises awareness of cycling issues and shares bike tips and ideas.

For information on cycle routes, cycle parking, shower and locker facilities at each campus, follow the links below:

  • Cycling to Greenwich Campus
  • Cycling to Medway Campus

Safety and security

Useful tips for staying safe on the roads can be found in the Highway Code. New cyclists may also find the information provided by the London Cycling Campaign (LCC) helpful. This covers confidence and safety on the road:

  • Cycling lanes and cycling near parked cars
  • Junctions and heavy goods vehicles
  • Pavements and pedestrians
  • Protection, insurance and incidents
  • Cycle security.
