Cycling and Walking to Stockwell Street

Cycling

Information about cycle routes is available from TfL. The ride from Avery Hill Campus takes around 30 minutes using the suggested route on Google maps.

At Stockwell Street there is a large access controlled bike parking facility to the rear of the building. This requires a Greenwich Gateway card to operate. We still recommend that you invest in a good quality bike lock. We do not accept liability, for any loss, destruction, damage or theft of cycles. Showers and lockers are provided in the basement of the building in room G11. Keys can be obtained from Security subject to availability.

The nearest TfL cycle hire location is in Island Gardens just north of the river (see note on walking below).

The London Cycling Campaign provides useful guidance about safety on the road, cycle maintenance and security.
