The university’s inter-campus bus service connects the Avery Hill, Greenwich and Medway campuses and is the easiest way to travel between the campuses during normal university hours. Departure times ensure you arrive in time for lectures that start on the hour.
Buses between Avery Hill and Greenwich and from Falconwood station are free. The service is only open to University of Greenwich staff and students, with the exception of the Medway service which can additionally be used by the other universities based at Medway.
Tickets for University of Greenwich staff and students currently cost only £1.50 per single journey, discounts are available for tickets bought in bulk. The cost will increase to £2 from September 2011.
Tickets for eligible non-University of Greenwich passengers are currently £3 per single journey.
The Falconwood shuttle bus is part of the green travel plan at the Avery Hill Campus and is funded with the income generated from parking fees. It runs to a published timetable between the Mansion and Southwood sites and Falconwood Station.
