We have a suite containing nine modern organic mass spectrometry (MS) instruments, including:

• HPLC-MS and GC-MS, tandem mass spectrometry and MALDI-TOF
• All modern ionization techniques
• Automated sample preparation instrumentation
• Inorganic mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)
• Inductively coupled plasma – mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).

The available analytical services in mass spectrometry are backed by a strong knowledge base in protein and peptide characterisation, quantitative lipid analysis related to clinical research and the application of MS to kinetic studies.
