Careers and employability

Our programmes are designed to enhance our students’ career prospects.

The MBA in Maritime Management is an internationally recognised Master’s degree that prepares aspiring managers for senior responsibility. It combines current theory with the practical skills and techniques required for managing all aspects of an organisation, from functional specialisms, such as marketing, operations and finance, through to whole-organisation strategic analysis and planning.

International and interdisciplinary in approach, our MA in International Maritime Policy in aimed at sea- and shore-based maritime professionals who are seeking to develop an indepth understanding of current issues and future developments; at public policy professionals looking to acquire maritime experience; and at graduates in maritime studies and public policy areas requiring further specialisation and postgraduate qualifications.

Our MA Maritime in History is designed for students who are keen to deepen and broaden their knowledge of our maritime past in order to inform decision making in today’s maritime industry.
