Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) represent a great way to gain access to experts who can spearhead new projects, develop innovative solutions for your business and increase your competitive advantage. The KTP scheme is part-funded by the government and designed to encourage partnerships between academia and industry.

KTPs can cover a wide range of bulk solids handling projects – usually involving the development of a new product or system.

The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology is a keen participant in this scheme and has been involved in successful projects recently with multi- and international companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and the Welding Alloys Group, as well as smaller companies such as Guttridge Ltd, allowing them to benefit from our specialist expertise.

"Refreshingly practical approach to solving knotty problems. Hands on supported by useful kit and lots of experience."

Industrial SME

“Our KTP with Wolfson was a superb way of gaining new and practical scientific knowledge that we now use in our everyday business work.”

Peter Guttridge, Chaiman Guttridge Ltd
