  • 1989-1993: Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Loughborough University of Technology.

Professor James Gao is a world-class academic of international reputation in product lifecycle management and information/knowledge management for innovative product development. He has published over 170 papers and directed a large number of research projects funded by UK research councils and leading manufacturing companies.
