Winner, CMI Award: Leadership and Management Achievement 2011

Dr Jill Jameson is Director of the Centre for Leadership & Enterprise, Vice Chair of the Society for Research into Higher Education, BERA Co-Convenor for the Post-Compulsory and Lifelong Learning Research Network, UoA Education Greenwich REF/RAE Coordinator (2004- present), Reader in Educational Research and formerly Director of Research and Enterprise (2004–11) in the School of Education, University of Greenwich.

Jill is Lead Guest Editor for the British Journal of Educational Technology (BJET) Special Issue (2012) on e-Leadership: BJET ranks 11/177 journals internationally for education and educational research, with an Impact Factor of 2.139. Winner of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Award for ‘Achievement in the Face of Adversity’ Jill was also a CMI 2011 finalist for ‘Outstanding Leadership’ for her work leading educational research.

Research/scholarly interests

Jill specialises in educational leadership, e-learning, trust, communities of practice and post-compulsory education research. She leads the Education Doctorate programmes at Greenwich and is Chair of the Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE) R&D Committee, SRHE Council Member and Chair of SRHE Annual Conference 2010. She is the National Convenor of the SRHE Post-Compulsory Education Research Network. Author of numerous publications, Jill is also a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRSA), Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) and Fellow of the Institute for Learning (FIfL).
