National management award for university academic manager

A2073-jill-jameson-awardA University of Greenwich academic manager has won a 2011 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Management & Leadership Award.

Dr Jill Jameson was named as Achiever in the Face of Adversity; she was also recognised as a finalist for the CMI Award for Outstanding Leader of the Year Award. Jill is Director, Centre for Leadership and Enterprise in the university’s School of Education.

The CMI awards recognise the achievements and expertise of the UK’s best managers and teams. The 12 winners were chosen from a shortlist of 41 finalists from all sectors, nations and regions.
