Department of Secondary Education

The School of Education offers Secondary education programmes for students who wish to teach in secondary schools. All programmes are a mixture of taught sessions at the university together with periods of practical teaching experience in our partner schools and colleges.

All secondary teacher training programmes take place at our Avery Hill Campus and lead to a recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the appropriate university award.
