Greenwich has got talent, says Diversity star

A1718-diversity-graduationBritain’s Got Talent winner Ike Ezekwugo says the University of Greenwich has real star quality.

The Diversity man graduated this week and was joined by seven members of the group (right) who posed for pictures with countless graduates and their family members.

Ike says: “What makes Greenwich a great place to study is the lecturers – they make the sessions really interesting and enjoyable. You come out of a lecture thinking you’ve really learned something, and obviously it’s a great place with an amazing history behind it. I’d recommend anyone come here.

“It’s really exciting to graduate. I’ve got my family here and the rest of the guys, I’ve got my degree and I’m part of Diversity. I feel like I can do anything!

“My mum has always stressed how important education is so I’ve been focussed on university and getting a degree. You never know what could happen in the future – I could break my leg and not be able to dance – so this gives me something to fall back on. It’s vital for young people to study – education is such a big part of life.

“I had a few friends who were already at Greenwich and that helped. I did my HND at the University of East London then Greenwich saw my results and let me start in the third year, so it’s all gone pretty quickly!”

The 22-year-old from Leytonstone graduated with a BA in Human Resource Management at the university’s awards ceremony at the Greenwich campus in the Old Royal Naval College.
