Doreen Nielsen joined the University of Greenwich from Middlesex University where she worked in the School of Computing Science. She has an MSc in Business Information Technology and a PGCE.
Doreen’s teaching has been at both postgraduate and undergraduate level in the areas of e-commerce, management support systems, information systems and management and strategy. She started her career as an analyst programmer and, prior to joining Middlesex University, project managed several large IT projects for a major communications company and headed up the IT department of a medical services company in Singapore.
Research/scholarly interests
- Her research interests are in the areas of collaborative learning using IT systems.
