Health & Social Care Open EveningThe University of Greenwich is holding another of its popular Health & Social Care Open Evenings on Wednesday 12 June. All prospective students are welcome to come and meet staff, get more information about courses and see the facilities.

At the Avery Hill Campus, near Eltham, there will be information on Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Health, Public Health, Social Work, Social Care, Psychology and postgraduate courses. Visitors can also tour the campus, take part in interview workshops, meet staff and get advice on university applications.

The Medway Campus, at Chatham Maritime, will have information about Adult Nursing, Speech & Language Therapy and Paramedic Science courses, together with advice on applications.

The Open Evening takes place from 4pm to 8pm. Partners, parents and friends are welcome to attend.

Greenwich came top for Adult Nursing in the 2011 NHS London performance ratings for universities and colleges that train the capital’s nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. Vivien Gregory was named Student Nurse of the Year in the Children category in the inaugural Student Nursing Times Awards in 2012.

The university was top for Learning Disabilities Nursing in the latest NHS London performance ratings.
