Local businesses are invited to a Science Research Open Day at the School of Science, University of Greenwich at Medway, on Tuesday 3 July
The School of Science, at the University of Greenwich at Medway, works closely with a wide range of businesses, from small firms to multi-million companies, providing cutting-edge research and analytical services.
From medical discoveries to green technologies, from gene manipulation to forensic investigation, teams of scientists are finding solutions to today’s challenges.
Speakers include Professor Frank Pullen of Pfizer Ltd, talking about the interface between academia and the pharmaceutical industry, and Professor Stephan Jefferis on geo-environmental processes. The treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, poison and poisoners, and reducing our carbon footprint are among other issues discussed.
Professor Martin Snowden, Director of Research, invites members of the business community to join him next Tuesday and see what the university can do for them.
