An opportunity to visit the University of Greenwich at Medway’s impressive campus, with its mix of architectural heritage and modern facilities, will be available to potential students of all ages at a special open day on Saturday, July 7.
The main venue for the Open Day, which starts at 10am, will be the new Pilkington Building, which is a tasteful conversion of one of the original structures on site.
The day will include tours of the campus, including the huge Drill Hall Library, as well as the student accommodation in the purpose built halls of residence.
Academic staff from a wide variety of courses will also be available to talk to potential students. Courses will include architecture and construction, the business school, computing and mathematical science, engineering, pharmacy, health and social care and humanities. There will also be information available on the Natural Resources Institute (NRI), which is based on campus and works with developing countries around the world.
Many of the university’s programmes run from partner colleges across the county and in London and further details will be available on the day as well as talks on student life, choosing the right subject and financial support.
Visitors to the open day will also be in with a chance to win a Nintendo Wii,
