Flight From History

Penelope's Corfield's new bookPenelope Corfield launches her new book Time and the Shape of History with a lecture considering why there has been a flight from studying history over the longer term. Professor Corfield, of Royal Holloway, University of London, will outline an alternative approach.

The book launch takes place from 6pm to 7.30pm in Room 180, Queen Anne Court, University of Greenwich, Old Naval College, Greenwich SE10. Professor Corfield will speak from 6pm. Wine and light refreshments will be served afterwards.

The lecture is part of a history research seminar series to celebrate the Avery Hill Centenary, a hundred years of higher education and teacher training at Avery Hill in the Borough of Greenwich. The book is published by Yale University Press.
