Mayor Keeps Her Pulse on Education in Medway

A1343-_Mayor_VisitThe Mayor of Medway, Councillor Angela Prodger, takes the pulse of robotic patient ‘Sim Man’ supervised by Harminder Deol and Buge Apampa from Medway School of Pharmacy, a joint initiative by the University of Kent and the University of Greenwich, during a visit to the Universities at Medway campus.

She also met staff and students from the University of Greenwich’s Natural Resources Institute, School of Science and School of Engineering during her visit at the beginning of February. The Mayor concluded her tour in the Drill Hall Library and Pilkington Building which are jointly owned and operated by the Universities of Greenwich and Kent.

Professor Alan Reed, Director of Regional Liaison (Kent & Medway) at the University of Greenwich says: “We were delighted to host the visit of the Mayor to our Medway campus. The visit provided her with the opportunity to learn about the range of work that the University of Greenwich at Medway engages in locally, nationally and internationally. She was very impressed with the commitment of staff and students and their enthusiasm for their work.”
