3D snaps idea a winner for Greenwich student in Business Plan Competition

An instant 3D photo service for tourist attractions has won a student a £5,000 prize in the University of Greenwich Business Plan Competition.

University of Greenwich Natural Resources Institute receives Grand Challenges Explorations grant for groundbreaking research in global health and development

The University of Greenwich's Natural Resources Institute, based in the UK, announced today that it is a Grand Challenges Explorations winner, an initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Dr Maruthi Gowda, Senior Research Fellow, will pursue an innovative global health and development research project, titled “Use of endosymbiotic bacteria as a novel biocontrol agent for crop pests and diseases”.
