Mark Kerrigan-Holt is a Senior Lecturer in Teaching and Leaning and also Physiology & Anatomy, where he is responsible for a series of cross-university activities around curriculum design and delivery. Mark has a broad teaching experience ranging from Foundation to MSc/PhD. Mark is heavily involved in both scientific and pedagogic research whereby he currently supervises 3 PhD students and publishes internationally in both fields. He is the leader of the Postgraduate Teaching & Learning course, which has been designed to support the development of teaching and learning skills for both PhD students and early-career Post-doctoral researchers.
Mark has successfully led numerous funded educational projects and is a core core team member of the Making Assessment Count JISC project working as part of a national University Consortium. Mark is interested in assessment and feedback as well as the holistic student experience from both entry into and post graduation experience. He has a strong interest in the authentic use of technology in teaching and learning and is heavily involved in VLE development as a central core to programme review.
